What two sentences changed Jack Canfield's Life?

Long before he lucked into the 100-million Chicken Soup for the Soul book and series, Jack Canfield read two sentences that changed his life. They seared his mind and heart, he says.

Writing in YOU GOTTA READ THIS BOOK, Canfield says he was reading Raymond Moodie's Life after Life book on near-death experiences. In most cases the people who died for a short time and then returned to life reported over and over again the following sequence:
1. leave the body
2. Look down on it
3. Go through a dark tunnel. Met by being of light. Feeling of unconditional love and a Life Review.
And here are the two questions each person had to answer...

What wisdom have you gained from this life?
How have you expanded your capacity to love?

This post is dedicated to my bookclub friend Charlotte Morkel who lost a six month battle with cancer yesterday when she died at home, aged 50-ish. Chalotte, I know one things for sure in your life review you could say you "expanded your capacity to love" all those long hours you put in at Constantiaberg Clinic as a special nurse in the leukemia and marrow transplant ward. And your dedication to your family.
Go in peace my book-loving friend. May you rest in peace, joy and love.
